I just want to confirm that we won't be using the terms "V2" or "V1" in the paper, as they don't correspond to actual release versions.

I think we'll stick with "beta" and "production" or something similar. You're right that V1 and V2 aren't meaningful outside of our team (and really not within our team anymore!).
I've changed the V1/V2 terminology to Beta/Production to avoid this confusion.
The new list looks good to me.

Like most software projects, A LOT of people have helped make HyP3 what it is today. For this reason, we want to make sure everyone gets the credit they deserve. This could be done by including everyone who helped as authors, or by acknowledging the contribution everyone made in a
contributions
