@chardso what about helping team and Dut?

chardso commented 3 years ago

I thought Dut should join the Pagerinya team. As for a helping team, how many do you think is enough? On Feb 3, 2021 1:43 PM, "Timm" notifications@github.com wrote:

timmwille commented 3 years ago

@chardso, is that where you wanted the budget list or need changes!?

yes please add it here

timmwille commented 3 years ago

get also some inspiration from team Eden/Ocea: https://github.com/ASKnet-Open-Training/CommunityRepairCafe/issues/18#issuecomment-771627006

timmwille commented 3 years ago

really great calculation, I have some feedback for you here:

Team Adjumani (YEF)

GitHub

Budget total comment
**Tools*** 720000UGX /= 201,- USD looks close to parts from the #ASKotec, might be a different list in reality, but good to go in terms of budget
**Materials*** 185000UGX /= 51,-USD add diodes/transistors, flip chart?
Event 800$ (>950$ was quite high), this needs to be discussed with the Hub and finance admin, 100$ for some hours per experts seems a lot, needs to be explained, is the remote aspect plannend in terms of available devices?
vugawilliam commented 3 years ago

It depends on the prices in the market

vugawilliam commented 3 years ago

Go to go as long the price in the market is know for easy budgeting

chardso commented 3 years ago

WoOh collaboration on move.

vugawilliam commented 3 years ago

This will be the proof on how, hard work means to us. There is nothing that will come in easy way without action.

chardso commented 3 years ago

Off course work is work but holding hands spices up.

timmwille commented 3 years ago

@chardso do you think events costs could be reduced to 800$? I think 950 is just too much, don't know how to solve this easy, I'm trying

chardso commented 3 years ago

800$ can since its not a big repair cafe like the one in 2019,and besides that it runs for few hours.

chardso commented 3 years ago

950$ is not a must ,it was an estimate, but the little that can be provided can be economised and we excute the activity successfully.

timmwille commented 3 years ago

superb :D really excited for this one!

chardso commented 3 years ago

Can the hubs also share their arrangements, with the participants as days are drawing closer! Both online and offline,

chardso commented 3 years ago

The arrangement for team list(experts) and support teams be I identified by hubs, Reason being,

vugawilliam commented 3 years ago

There is nothing hub is doing by selecting expertise, what we do was writing a letter to OPM office in the settlement for the event. I believe in the concept you have send the name of experts. However we trying our best to see this event happen. Stop being issues here and there, we are in difficulty time. I believe two you @chardso and kenyi have to set down should come up and gives responsibility ..who are on the board as experts and what problems he or she will handle on 16th

chardso commented 3 years ago

Great,am now notified, but @vugawilliam never get tired of my issues its apart of my learning.and besides that a student who rises issues i think gives courage to his/her mentor. Thanks.

timmwille commented 3 years ago

All good, if you need a specific checklist we can develop. I'll try to put in some last guidance tomorrow evening together with @bmen to have some checklists for each team available.

→ all of these are to be considered then a prototype where we need proof of concept, so we will learn from the event on the 16th and improve, it is ok if not everything works out perfectly, from there we grow. :+1:

chardso commented 3 years ago

The repair cafe for pagirinya was a success.

timmwille commented 3 years ago

chardso commented 3 years ago

As the date for the next repair cafe was not clearly stated ,i would like to be notified whether 23/Feb/2021has been approved for this activity or not yet.

timmwille commented 3 years ago

Hi @chardso there might be budget left from the last action but in any case keep me in the loop what you discuss with @vugawilliam this is my status of what was agreed, should work: https://github.com/ASKnet-Open-Training/CommunityRepairCafe/issues/23#issuecomment-776309317
