Budget total comment
**Tools*** 720000UGX /= 201,- USD Laptop and cam to hire via Event costs, but still has a bit of buffer to add some of the Material parts (Flash disk?)
**Materials*** 285000UGX /= 77,-USD this is already way more than planned before, I think Flash disks can move as Tools or Event costs and not 100 R/C/D needed for one Repair Event, it seems a bit overbudgeted
Event 800$ >1000$ was too high, this needs to be discussed with the Hub and finance admin, over 200$ for some hours per expert seems a lot is the remote aspect plannend in terms of available devices? if you plan for a second event, this can also be smaller maybe to keep both events together within around 1600$?
timmwille commented 3 years ago

@gibertgibs @PyGamma the budget above was huge, I think today I understood you also plan for a huge event? I think we have to make it work with less or we have to make the second one in Adjumani really smaller. Maybe also @yaievy can comment on this one? I think for the materials we can go a bit higher as session costs, but all in all I think it is more than what is needed for a simple repair café. For the Tools also consider adding a Toolbox/Backpack/Shoulder Bag or similar to store and organise the tool-kit, please do documentation!

@Biorology you were right, sorry I had not put the calculation in Dollars.

gibertgibs commented 3 years ago

Okay perfect....I understand

timmwille commented 3 years ago

All good, if you need a specific checklist we can develop. I'll try to put in some last guidance tomorrow evening together with @bmen to have some checklists for each team available.

→ all of these are to be considered then a prototype where we need proof of concept, so we will learn from the event on the 16th and improve, it is ok if not everything works out perfectly, from there we grow. :+1:

gibertgibs commented 3 years ago

@timmwille Team Pagirinya, is ready for 16th and we have purchased our Materials, will share it with you tomorrow 14:00hrs EAT.

maliarich commented 3 years ago

@elobijo @babyomer have a glimpse of this concept example. Yours should be precised as this one or more precised.

timmwille commented 3 years ago

I think only the documentation is to be finalised, but on the way so we can close the concept dev → we might extract some guidance/example out of this though
