sorry, I think Electron is the user's first choice
But NW.js supports twice as many operating systems. Has smaller distribution sizes. Uses less resources. Is updated within 24 hours of new Node/Chromium releases. Been around 5 years longer. Allows for actual source protection. Supports legacy OS's. Has proper Linux support instead of as an after thought. And it's considerably easier to get started with.
So, yeah, Electron has a lot of marketing behind it, but it sure as hell isn't my first choice. Also, I'm a user.
Note that I didn't remove Electron from the list, or even put NW.js above it. I'm just trying to get equal treatment. Github pays for their advertising. NW.js is just an open source project, the only way it gets mentioned is if the users of it add it to places where it should be mentioned.
@koppthe Maybe you should consider more than one choice, just a personal point of view. :)
@TheJaredWilcurt I used NW.js before, and it helped me to make many fantantic tools. I really love your attitude.
NW.js is similar to Electron (modified Chromium browser with Node.js built in).
AT UI works in it exactly the same as it does in Chrome.
