expand Bristol OSM data #17

Closed mpadge closed 6 years ago

Current data in who-data do not extend to the range of the OD data, and so the bounding polygon for Bristol needs to be expanded. Probably easiest just to get the polygon from the OD data and expand that? @Robinlovelace Would you be able to find time to do this?

Robinlovelace commented 6 years ago

Sure - the bounding polygon for the travel to work area can be found here: https://github.com/Robinlovelace/geocompr/blob/master/extdata/bristol-ttwa.rds

Can download data also if needs be but got a meeting now.

Robinlovelace commented 6 years ago

Thinking about it, it's probably best to subset the OD data so they only contain flows inside Bristol.

st_within should do that.

mpadge commented 6 years ago

That's how i've done it at the moment, so that means we can just leave as is, which is grand

Great!
