Form of distance decay function #9

Extending directly from #3, and in response to these flow maps for Accra, the form of distance decay function needs to be very carefully thought out. Is in a decay in expected numbers (so maybe exponential)? Or a decay in expected distances (so maybe log-poly)?

I think exponential is best for the time being..
