Synchronverter as a rectifier #1

Hi Mr Tayyebi it's marvellous work, have you ever tried synchronverter as a rectifier and the relationship between its dynamic response and inertia? Say, a 3-phase rectifier connecting a resistor load and a load change after the initial dynamic. It seems that the disturbence of DC voltage will be bigger if the inertia is bigger, but it's contradictory to common sense.

@Vurgit Thanks. I did not explore the performance of synchronverter as a rectifier. For that case I suggest using the full-blown synchronverter presented in the following paper: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/polopoly_fs/1.323807!/file/IEEEIE1104_Synchronverter.pdf

The VSM in our paper represents a simplified version of synchronverter.

The link between the dc voltage and inertia is not surprising to me, the duality of the converter's dc voltage and synchronous machine's frequency is established in this paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1706.09495.pdf

And finally, note the tuning recommendation in the original synchronverter paper. It is suggested that the inertia constant should be much smaller than the damping constant.
