The problem isn't that it breaks, but that it freezes, without any feedback in the console log, and without crashing. If it gave feedback and failed, that'd be fine, I'd simply quit, and retry something else. Staying frozen though is bad.
This of course only happens when I ask for something outrageous like 1024x1536x150text on my 12gb vram 64gb ram machine. But even if I ask for something impossible, I'd like an error, rather than a freeze.
This console log shows first a successful profile creation then one that ends up infinitely frozen.
