[Bug]: "xFormers wasn't build with CUDA support" after running with --reinstall-xformers #11905

Is there an existing issue for this?

What happened?

I forced xformers to reinstall because it was outdated (using --reinstall-xformers) and it returned the following error:

NotImplementedError: No operator found for `memory_efficient_attention_forward` with inputs:
     query       : shape=(2, 4096, 8, 40) (torch.float32)
     key         : shape=(2, 4096, 8, 40) (torch.float32)
     value       : shape=(2, 4096, 8, 40) (torch.float32)
     attn_bias   : <class 'NoneType'>
     p           : 0.0
`flshattF` is not supported because:
    xFormers wasn't build with CUDA support
    dtype=torch.float32 (supported: {torch.float16, torch.bfloat16})
    Operator wasn't built - see `python -m xformers.info` for more info
`tritonflashattF` is not supported because:
    xFormers wasn't build with CUDA support
    dtype=torch.float32 (supported: {torch.float16, torch.bfloat16})

    requires A100 GPU
`cutlassF` is not supported because:
    xFormers wasn't build with CUDA support

`smallkF` is not supported because:
    xFormers wasn't build with CUDA support

Not sure how to fix it from here.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Launch the A1111 WebUI with --xformers --reinstall-xformers
  2. Try generating an image
  3. The error "xFormers wasn't build with CUDA support" appears

The image should have generated correctly using xformers.

Issue fixed by completely removing and uninstalling both torch and xformers and letting the WebUI install them again.
