I'm not sure what you mean. fastapi
has been pinned at version 0.94.0 for several releases. It was changed from fastapi==0.90.1
to fastapi==0.94.0
for v1.1.0. https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/pull/8509
That was based on the requirements.txt after running git pull; then I noticed the sysinfo showed that it was 0.94.0, so the issue could be from either versions.
requirements.txt
is only relevant for cloud services. Also note the version in that file is not pinned, it's fastapi>=0.90.1
, meaning 0.90.1 or later. What the webui uses when running locally is requirements_versions.txt
. That is to say, you've been running version 0.94.0 of fastapi for several webui releases now, so it's impossible for that to be the cause.
Thanks for clarifying, so I changed the title to more appropriately express what my concern is.
You can see what's keeping it awake with powercfg /requests
(run as admin). Here's what I get with webui running.
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> powercfg /requests
DISPLAY:
None.
SYSTEM:
None.
AWAYMODE:
None.
EXECUTION:
None.
PERFBOOST:
None.
ACTIVELOCKSCREEN:
None.
I tried what you said about "powercfg /requests", and got the same results as you (with all: none).
Nonetheless, the problem still persists!
I want to ask if anyone else is also experiencing this issue?
What do you get when you try these commands?
AFAIK, there's literally nothing in the whole distribution that would mess with Windows power settings.
Things to check:
Make sure these are disabled. If the PC still wakes up, make sure these last 3 settings are disabled too for your network adapter (unless you need wake on LAN):
If the PC still wakes up, make sure to disable update orchestrator wakeup task:
If the PC still wakes up, make sure to set the Group Policy to disable wakeup for update installation:
If it still wakes up after all that then you might have some other issue (malware, hardware malfunction, etc).
Hi Levicki,
Sorry for the late reply,
I had the same results as you when I entered /waketimers and /lastwake,
But I did notice that my Advanced power settings > Allow wake timers was set to : Important Wake Timers Only
After disabling this, the power settings went back to normal (without having to first reboot).
So the problem seems solved for now, but that 'Important Wake Timers Only' setting was never a problem until running the python included in v1.6.0.
Anyways, thanks for the help Levicki!
@reboosu As I said, this code has nothing that can interfere with power settings. Update Orchestrator is waking the PC to install "important" updates. I am glad that your problem was solved.
Is there an existing issue for this?
What happened?
Hello Everyone,
This problem started after upgrading to, and running v1.6.0.
I had no problems with generating images (and many thanks to AUTOMATIC1111 and all other contributors for their dedication and hardwork for this marvelous technology!!!) -- but after running webui-user.bat, whether the browser and terminal is running or shutdown, I noticed that my Windows 10 Power & Sleep settings stopped triggering at their assigned times.
In other words, my monitor would not turn off when it was supposed to, and my operating system would never enter sleep mode when it was supposed to. Even more alarming, is when I put the computer to sleep, upon returning home, the computer had waked itself back up on its own!
This problem never occurred when I was running v1.4.0 and v1.5.2.
I suspect that Fastapi may have something to do with the unexpected interference with Windows power and sleep settings, because when I compared the requirements.txt for v1.6.0 with the above-mentioned two versions, what stood out was that:
v1.6.0 introduced fastapi 0.90.1 (and) upgraded gradio to 3.41.2
I sincerely hope that this is an unintentional bug, but at the same time, it could also be something more worrisome, as I also noticed changes to my LAN's behavior.
Why does this suspected python package need to keep my computer constantly awake and connected to the internet? Anyways, I hope someone more knowledgeable and experienced can get to the bottom of this.
Fortunately, this problem with the power and sleep options does seem to go back to normal after rebooting to the computer, but it will happen again after running v1.6.0!
Thank you for reading about my issue.
Steps to reproduce the problem
What should have happened?
There is no reason for Stable Diffusion to be messing around with the operating system's power and sleep settings.
