[PE-D] Adding special characters to the github attribute in the json file crashes the app. #140

Step to reproduce the bug:

  1. Go into the json file and type some special characters in the github attribute as shown in the image below.

  1. Save and close the file.
  2. Launch the app.
  3. All the original data is gone.
