What I did:

When I make a schedule with an exact current date time, it shows that I cannot use a past date.

This screenshot shows you the real date time at the right bottom corner.

Suggestion:

Since everyone has different views on whether now is considered past, I feel like you can specify this in your user guide. So that your user will have a clearer idea of this!

The purpose of schedule is to set an appointment in the future. Can change the Note to put Only allow to schedule in the future.
