I want to presentation on the basics of the Lightning Network.

What does everyone think?

I'm down to talk about LNURL, though, not talking about about BOLT-12

I would plan to cover the same content as my video -- pretty much beginner conceptual level. Nothing too in the weeds.

What's wrong with BOLT12? At the very least, presenting what it is and what you see wrong with it would be informative.

Also, isn't BitDevs supposed to be "in the weeds"? Or do you see a different vision?

I think it's a balance. I might as well do the node presentation if I am to do the in the weeds version, which is fine and I can do. I'm also conscious that most of our community is still learning basic coding, so that is a concern of mine that they need to learn the conceptual before the node piece.

I did not say there is anything wrong with BOLT-12, I just don't have an interest in presenting on it and isn't really a part of LN 101. You're free to propose a topic if you wish to 👍 .

Maybe we review https://bolt12.org/ together as a group? I think that could be cool but we should track it as a topic for the Socratic. We can let the group navigate the topics.

Oh I love that! Explore and try to understand it as a group. Ask questions and see if we get it.

Maybe starting off and reading the LN white paper could be a good start for the group.
