• [x] URL structure should not have /page, /blog in it.
• [x] The Title of the content should automatically become the URL.
• [x] Update meta tag.
  • Meta Title tag = Page title - Aam Aadmi Party
  • Meta Summary = First few lines of the body
  • Meta Twitter handle =@aamaadmiparty
  • Meta Twitter Image = Meta Facebook Image = Image chosen in the article

• For changing url, we will use redirect module.
• First we set the new url patterns for content type...
• Run the following php snippet $nodes = node_load_multiple(array(), array('type' => 'basic_page')); foreach($nodes as $node) { $node->path['pathauto'] = TRUE; node_save($node); }

@sumeetpareek Globalredirect module

• Remvoes duplicate url showing same content, for example in drupal, pathauto module creates alias about-us for node node/1. Now content on node can be accessed by both url about-us & node/1. So globalredirect module will redirect to node/1 url to about-us.
• It is my understanding. http://www.commonplaces.com/blog/top-drupal-modules-you-must-have-be-seo-friendly.
• But in my local globalredirecting module is not working.
• I think it will not fullfill not our requirement, as it only redirect node/[nid] or user/[user_id] to url alias. Not old alias to new alias. As I did not find any places where it stored entry of old alias.

Redirect module

• It stores the old alias, and set redirect to node/[nid] type, and node/[nid] is already set to some new alias by pathauto module.
• It sets the 301 (Permanently moved) status of old alias.
