Hardware Issue

Steps to reproduce

During vertical gradient measurements, secondary thermistors were installed on the system. At the same time the physical channels of thermistors were moved around.

The reference thermistor (known as thermistor 4) was moved from position 4 to position 2. All extra thermistors were then added to position 3 and 4.

This results in a critical change in the sensor circuit. Due change in channel the fixed thermistor was also changed.

Measurements showed a significant change in measurements based on the physical channel.:

Channel | Temperature
-------------------------
2 | 18,94 °C
3 | 18,77 °C
4 | 18,76 °C

Solution Move reference thermistor back to position 4 and redo #54.

The software should additionally be reworked to use a specific channel as the reference thermistor. Potentially make it interchangeable.

Alternatively always calibrate thermistors as position 2.

Alternatively change thermistor measurement circuit to a (wheatstone) bridge configuration. Instead of the original voltage divider circuit.
