Suggest - this would non-destructively lower the playback offset level (shown in Edit markers) for very compressed/dense/clipped tracks. For consideration - threshold sensors for cut start/end/segue would follow this setting To transition existing installations, ideally requires a matching command line utility to mass scan & change an entire existing groups normalisation (playback level) level, cut/end/segue markers.
This feature is increasingly important (especially when Voice Tracking over song intro/outro's) for music formats mixing gently mastered 60-80's material with some of todays hyper smashed recordings.
