This is a great project and the report is clearly written. The problems you faced and solutions you adopted were very similar to ours so we may discuss our thoughts together later.
You did a pretty good job on explorary data analysis and we can see the distribution of prices vary among different boroughs, we can also see that how significantly the prices are influenced by the financial crisis in 2008.
The report also says that there are a lot of zero values which are excluded during the data cleaning process. However, there are still many values close to zero which are abnormal too. Did you exclude them too? I'd love to see a more specific explanation.
I agree with you on transforming numerical values to dummy variables then fit them to your models because that's exactly what we're doing in our project too. However, the MSE table is just abnormal... The errors are so high and I'd suggest you figure out the reason before you head to next steps.
You can definitely leverage time series variables to help predict properties' prices, which we're trying to do in our next steps too. Good luck and can't wait to see your final report!
