Analytics Data Export API

Request summary:
The current api was 6x slower than the normal UI (in one recent example) and 
the format is very verbose inflating csv data by 10x.  JSON and CSV would be 
excellent, and faster please!  

Use Cases:
I have a hard time powering UIs directly from the API due to performance.  A 
fast JSON api would allow me to populate dashboards directly at time of query 
instead of pulling, storing and regurgitating.
