Issue summary:
it would be very nice to maintain token validity when migrating between API 
versions.

Notes:
it would be very nice to maintain token validity when migrating from API 
versions (we don’t believe our customers would be glad to re-grant access to 
their accounts just because we would like to use a new and improved version of 
the API).
