Catch any error and show a nice message to the user

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Any transaction crashes

What is the expected output? 
1. The error is catched
2. a relevant message is shown to the user
3. an email is sent to the developers

What do you see instead?
HTTP Error generated by the developer
