[PATCH] Finalize 1284P support #736

What change would like to see?

Apply a couple more fixes to 1284P support

Why?

Issue 727 was not accepted, so this will instead hard-code 1284P 
pins-to-channels conversion.  Also including a patch to clean up a warning 
accidentally introduced in 728.

Would this cause any incompatibilities with previous versions?  If so, how
can these be mitigated?

Full support for the 1284p and 664p would be VERY helpful so any changes that 
help this whilst not breaking something else would be ideal.
