**So, I deleted the WinPaletter.exe file and now I cannot see what to choose from the download. Is there any way to restore it to default?

Yes there is.

Redownload WinPaletter, in main form press on this button in toolbar (Create new theme file from default Windows preferences) https://github.com/Abdelrhman-AK/WinPaletter/wiki/Main-form-parts#toolbar , and finally press on apply.
