Spectrometer control program - jump to wavelength delay #62

Sometimes the program takes a good long while (20 s) to start "jumping to
wavelength" after the button is pressed. This is especially noticeable if
you tell it to go to the same wavelength it's currently at, but it also
occurs other times. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce the
error consistently.
