Feature request or support request:

I enjoy the easy setup and usage of ActiveMessaging in my Rails apps, but
now I need messaging in a standalone Ruby application.

How do I best use ActiveMessaging outside of Rails?

Can you make ActiveMessaging available as a gem?

There are several folks who have branches of active messaging on github and are
experimenting with converting it to a gem for use with rails 2.1 - for 
something now,
that is probably the closest work there is. 

Otherwise, as the main maintainer, I can tell you I am up to my eyeballs with 
other
projects, so I am unlikely to be able to work on an enhancement of this kind
immediately.  It ain't a small amount of effort you are asking for.

We just managed to use ActiveMessaging outside rails 2 minutes ago :)

We would very much like to contribute to the project by committing our changes 
and
publishing a gem for broader consumption.

Would you accept a patch or give commit rights to us?

Is git or subversion the preferred repository?

Has been a gem for awhile now, and I am now actively able to publish fixes to 
the gem
again.
