Rookie should have an animated intro screen that teaches you how to use Rookie. You can enter a query. Then features are slowly revealed with text that explains what they do. This graph does XYZ. These facets are ABC.

a narrated video might be the easiest way to implement this? unless the interface changes then it would have to be redone.
