Cannot access new user's public feed #670

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to access public feed of newly created user 
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/username/uploads

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to get a list of videos in feed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
YouTube API 2.0 on .net

I created a new user, uploaded a file, and now I'm trying to access the videos 
I uploaded. While I can access all the other public users that are setup for my 
group I cannot with my newly created one. I get a 400 bad request. Attempting 
to access it in the browser produces the same result whereby the old user's 
feeds will show up. I even tried removing the space from the username and that 
had no effect. Is there something special I have to do to the user beyond 
making the videos public? I've waited 24 hours should I wait longer?
