It would be nice if there was a way to run a debug mode with the script, such that:
the output of the terminal is recorded via script using a file denoted with date and time in YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS format
i.e. script 20200806-114856-blockstack-miner
the env vars BLOCKSTACK_DEBUG=1 and RUST_BACKTRACE=full are put in before cargo start
Note: I did have to install the openssh-server package to be able to copy the file off the VM with scp, but the process was pretty simple, maybe document that as well?
