Implement Indieweb Principles for Design

The IndieWeb is:

a community of individual personal websites, connected by simple standards, based on the principles of owning your domain, using it as your primary identity, to publish on your own site (optionally syndicate elsewhere), and own your data.

The IndiWeb concept of POSSE is:

POSSE is an abbreviation for Publish (on your) Own Site, Syndicate Elsewhere, the practice of posting content on your own site first, then publishing copies or sharing links to third parties (like social media silos) with original post links to provide viewers a path to directly interacting with your content.

Key features/ideas to consider:

• use of IndiAuth for a single, identifiable login
  • the beta service IndieLogin simplifies the process
  • any way to link this concept with a Blockstack ID? (or use that as the central login vs this?)
• use of microformats in development of content
• use of webmentions based on the W3C spec
  • possible hosted solution if no other route: https://webmention.io/
  • tool for connecting website to social media: https://brid.gy/

Next up would be a roadmap for adding features to the core design, then for adding new outlets to syndicate and/or aggregate content. Some resources for initial setup and additional resources include:
