Hi Can you explain more about what do you mean by this ?

Additionally, the accuracy of the translated version is inevitably influenced by semantic changes made to the original text prior to translation.

and also this?

by undoing all the semantic changes that have occurred over the centuries

Hi, Sure, I'm glad to explain anything related to the app,

I think it's pretty noticeable that translations differ from each other, sometimes minor differences other times it's quite a significant shift from one translation to another, this depends on the background of the translator, his sect, and adopted interpretations, I think it's legit to doubt the accuracy of the translations, but even further since not only the translations differ from each other but also the Tafsirs written in Arabic differ from each other, thus I think it's legit to assume that semantic changes occurred over time that made people eventually speculate about the meaning of the verses and propose multiple explanations.

To put this in context, I probably should touch on my background, I'm not a Sunni or Shia Muslim, I'm a deist and I mainly have an interest in the Quran's pure linguistics, Thus the App purpose is to be a useful tool in that domain.
