Bins not showing in amiibomb #20

Open lukehawker opened 7 years ago

lukehawker commented 7 years ago

cannot import bin files to write and no files are showing within the app

I'm seeing the same issue. The app detects key in my clipboard and prompts to save it but no bin file is actually saved.

Same here :{

I'm guessing, based on the timing, that this is an issue with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. I've seen this same 0.3 build work on a Windows 10 machine earlier in the year so I can only think that is the change that has broken it...

Also getting a blank grey box here - no list of .bins.

Works when I launch it as an administrator, though.

Same issue here, detects the keys from my clipboard and offers to save them but no bin file is actually created. What's weird is the bin file shows up in Recent Files but it's not actually saved where it says it is and can't be opened.

Tried running as an administrator and didn't notice any change.

There is two issues right here:

  1. Save keys from clipboard seems doesn't works well... Need to investigate when I'll have time. You can search the keys with the function in AmiiBomb on internet. When you get them, there is many online website who can convert "Hex to binary file" (First result on google is great, tomeko.net/etc...).
  2. If you have no keys loaded in the program, any *.bin files appears at the left panel in AmiiBomb... If you have added keys and nothing appear but you don't have any error. Restart AmiiBomb and you will get the left panel. Probably an if condition issue.
