"Vertical" - a single vertical column of images "Horizontal" - a single horizontal row of images "Grid" - a contact-sheet style grid of images
Compare Mode allows multiple images/media items to be simultaneously displayed in the Viewer using various layout options.
You can play them in sync and scrub the timeslider, although playback performance will be limited by your specific hardware configuration.
