Entry Status becoming diabled #496

Hey Team!

We are having an issue with the status of the source entry being disabled when the translation draft is created. For example, I have an entry that exists in english, german, and french and each have a status of "enabled". I then create a translation order with a source of "English" that targets the "Japan" site. Then after the XML comes back we review and select merge into draft, the translation draft gets created. The draft now exists but the "English" version of the draft is disabled and the German, French, Japan version of the draft are enabled (which is what we would expect). I know we can adjust the status before applying the draft but in the case of using the "merge and apply" option we would not know that one English version of the entry has been disabled.

We tested and were able to consistently recreate. It was always the "source" entry that would be disabled in the draft. So if we had a "source" of French and a target of "Japan", the French Version of the translation Draft would be disabled.

The other thing to point out that may be related is that the section settings of each language site all have a default status of "disabled", but again in our scenario, the entry is always enabled before creating the translation order.

Thanks!

Hello @masonry47, my apologies for the late reply. We are having trouble reproducing this issue. Can you please provide a screen recording of this? Maybe staging access or config files?

Thank you
