Figure #39

We have a specific subclass of Container for Tables.

Can we get a subclass of Container called Figure?

AmnaKRDB commented 1 year ago

The figures can be covered by schema:MediaObject.

AmnaKRDB commented 1 year ago

For a more specific identification of the Figure, dct:Image can be also used.

beachtom commented 1 year ago

Ok grat.

But we also have aec3po:Container - should this not relate to these somehow?

AmnaKRDB commented 1 year ago

I think, this can be one possible way to link them in Turtle: ex:figure a aec3po:Container ; rdf:type dct:Image .

May I clarify something? A Table is not a subclass of Container.

A Container contains a Table Similarly , a Contianer contains a Figure

beachtom commented 1 year ago

That makes sense - so we can do Container->IsDefinedBy->Figure?

EdliraK commented 1 year ago

aec3po:Container aec3po:contains dct:Image

The same container will then contain the caption of that image or other aspects.
