Node 8 compatibility #173

The README currently states that this package does not work on Node.js 7+, but using Node.js 8 on Linux, I'm not noticing any issue, and the test suite passes. The Travis CI build also passes with up to Node.js 8.

Let's trade this outdated statement for this Travis build.

Node 8 is about to be slated as the new LTS.
