Refactor JavaScript and Sass code to improve readability and maintainability, making it easier for future developers to understand and work with the codebase. Ensure that JavaScript code is original or appropriately sourced, rather than taken minified from other sources without verification.

I am working on the code refactoring before I do anything else. The issue is that there is tone of minified code that I am not 100% sure what it is doing with links all over the place giving people credit. It looks like everything is copy left. But I am not sure and need to make sure there is nothing fishy in there. @Sprunglesonthehub Please assign this to me and I will begin working on it over the weekend.
