I propose to appoint a main responsible for each area of work (dealing with sponsors, website, social media, t-shirts, etc). That does not mean the responsible has to do the work alone, but he/she will be the person of contact and who will manage the task whichever feels right.

If you are all OK with this, maybe we could assign those roles during the meetup.

I think that we need to integrate the git-hub ACT repository to this channel. I've tried to do it but I don't have permissions

@jluis GitHub integration for Slack wants to access everywhere I have access to. I don't like granting access to other organizations and my private repos without knowing what's going on, so no integration yet, sorry.

I won't be able to attend the meeting, so here are some mixed ideas. If you make some kind of summary I'll try to answer too.

I think right now we don't have much information about what people wants, and I think it worked pretty well last year. So I'm inclined to have two tracks: beginner and 'varied'. In the beginner track we could use perltuts or other talks that we have done in the past introducing the language. And in the 'varied' track the rest of the talks of different themes and levels. I guess it all depends too on the number and type of submitted talks... btw, we should be announcing the CFP everywhere already, no?

I also think the target audience depends on the goal. If we try to do it for the locals, then catalan and spanish should do. If we try to have a bigger impact on the (european) community as a whole, then we should definitely go with English. In the end, it depends on how comfortable is the speaker with the language.

About sponsorships... we have the venue covered and there are plenty of places to go for lunch, so I guess it's limited to swag (t-shirts, mugs or any other thing we come up with as a 'gift' or 'souvenir') and bringing a guest. The second option, though, it's probably more expensive, but someone from UK or Amsterdam could work. I'll talk to CAPSiDE about sponsorship options (besides the office space).

About the non-free training classes... I don't think there would be much interest. It's very hard for people to pay for training here (as far as my experience goes).
