SANDAG: we looked into ITHIM. I think we need to have further proof the methodology used in IHTIM is sound, espeically the statistics between travel metrics and health metrics. Addtionally, if we are to link to a specefict product/tool, is there a concensus that the tool is the industry standard?
SFCTA: ITHIM appears to be too aggregate for many of our analysis needs
MTC: We wrote scripts to process output for ITHIM last cycle. It was a straightforward exercise but at the time, ITHIM was a spreadsheet and Neil Maizlish worked on the spreadsheet model for us. I think this would only be worth doing when ITHIM moves to something easier to automate (a library or module) and enough agencies have interest.
Integration with ITHIM, a public health active transportation cost benefit analysis toolkit. http://www.mrc-epid.cam.ac.uk/research/research-areas/public-health-modelling/ithim/. Similar ideas were integrated into the bca4abm toolkit using World Health Organization research.
