Sluggish performance while loading images #1444

After updating to Android 14, the app has become very sluggish when loading any type of image. Once the images are loaded, the app seems to return to normal performance. However, displaying a new image triggers the problem to recur.

Enabling media pre-fetching seemed to be the cause of the issue
