Audio devices are gone and do not get recreated #29

Describe the bug The audio devices for the individual channels of my GoXLR are suddenly gone. Clicking on the GoXLR in the "Audio > Setup" section of the settings does nothing

To Reproduce I'm unsure, the devices just were gone one day.

Expected behavior The devices should exist and/or should get recreated if using the Setup setting.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

Additional context I've already tried to completely reset the application in order for the devices to get created anew, but to no avil.

I'm also having the same problem but it's intermittent for me and I did not figure out how to reproduce that. From time to time I lose all the aggregates virtual channels and have only the main on (goxlr) and have to remove all of those from Audio Midi and ask the app to recreate it all.

Hi ! Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing.

I'm going to look into it for the next version (that'll include a huge redesign internally). Meanwhile, you can go in the Audio Midi Setup app (in your Utilities folder), there should appear all your devices. You can delete them and try to recreate them. If it still doesn't work after restarting the app, disconnecting and reconnecting the app etc, you can in last solution create them manually in the audio midi setup app (Plus icon -> Aggregate -> Tick GoXLR -> click Setup Speakers -> select channels as you will (1-2 is system etc... you can look at the channel significations in the midi setup app page for the GoXLR !)

Hope it helps !

Thanks for the tip about the Audio Midi Setup app! Deleting all the devices and having the app recreate them worked for me.
