Family Filter: Force restricted mode on Youtube #265

First of all, a big Thanks for the great DNS Server offer. Could you enforce content filtering (restricted mode) on Youtube for the family safety offering similar like https://cleanbrowsing.org/ does it (see https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/174059)? Kids use Youtube all the time and I have seen them being confronted with things that are not suited for them (e.g. rap music with very explicit texts).

Thank you!

You can do this now via the user rules.

216.239.38.119 youtube.com
216.239.38.119 www.youtube.com
216.239.38.119 m.youtube.com
216.239.38.119 youtubei.googleapis.com
216.239.38.119 youtube.googleapis.com
216.239.38.119 youtube-nocookie.com
216.239.38.119 www.youtube-nocookie.com

The above duplicates the setting for CleanBrowsing DNS by blocking access to videos with possible violence, sexuality or adult content. This also blocks YouTube comments.

If you have younger children then you can can approximate the YouTube Kids app by using 216.239.38.120 instead for more strict filtering.
