Sad to see the priority of this one set to Low. Any reason why?
On a similar note, I think there is already such a functionality available but it send the report explicitly. Seen under Settings > Miscellaneous > Send statistics of ad filters usage
Checking the documentation, we see this: https://kb.adguard.com/en/general/filter-rules-statistics#what-kind-of-statistics-will-be-sent
So it would be good that some more information could be collected to improve such cases when the filter developers are unable to figure out what is causing the issue.
It can be re-prioritized if there are more upvotes.
Added mine:)
I suggest to use CSV format. In this case, it will be convenient to work with rows in the table editor and extract the necessary data (for example, a large number of queries).
Please we need this, because in some cases the filter maintainers have a hard time reproduce the issue, specifically for this issue:
For example, It is hard to understand anything from this image and in some cases long rule filters or the ongoing filter logs etc, until reproduce is end.
Currently there is no export log functionality (at least in AG for Chrome extension version: 2.10.14) like we have on AG for Android. We have a 'Filtering Log' but that just shows the real-time URLs/Requests and does not allow to export any logs.
One major problem that many users are currently facing is that ads/pop-ups are only showing up to some users and not to others even under the same test conditions (same link, same filters, same AG version, etc.).
This is probably due to different IP addresses of the testers/users. Can we therefore add a functionality in the logs so that all the required information (including URLs, Extensions installed, Chrome version, Filters active, State changed, last update, etc...) is collected which can be either exported / sent directly to the dev/support team? This exported log would capture details of such cases and would help the filter developers/testers to accurately pinpoint and troubleshoot the issue. The level of detail collected can be the same as in AG for Android/Windows.
The main purpose of implementing this functionality would be to address those cases where some users are seeing ads whereas the filter developers/testers are not irrespective of the IP address of the user doing the test.
