looks like the kiwi issue has not been fixed https://github.com/kiwibrowser/src.next/issues/947

Now we can't even able to block webrtc using adguard adblocker it just doesn't toggle on

The problem I found there was it doesn't asking for privacy permission in first place when using lemur browser ( Chinese browser doesn't gonna recommend but have better extension supports) When I try to block webrtc a pop up comes asking give permission to change privacy related setting just give that a it's toggled on ready to go

There ask for permission only once not after that whatsoever and when using webrtc limiter I doesn't remember if it ask permission or not it it doesn't worked that time it just roll back to its default settings whenever I change it and go backwards boom it change to default

@Krishna-art-dev The issue is not only about WebRTC. Adguard extension on Kiwi browser also doesn't work well in Inconigto mode, you can try to test visit this site: https://d3ward.github.io/toolz/adblock.html. Try measure the AdBlock using Adguard extension in normal mode and inconigto mode and you will see the results are different. Since kiwi update it to 116 this browser is so terrible

1000005971 Kiwi browser playstore's latest version 116.0.5845.72 In normal mode 1000005972 Kiwi browser in incognito mode In incognito mode cosmetics filters were not blocked 1000005973 Only recommended filters turned on and stealth mode disabled I didn't see any significant difference here

Btw here's my recommendation Google gonna destroy mv2 extension's so just change to adguard's mv3 extension or ublock minus what we gonna or can able to do if adguard doesn't block webrtc or whatever mv2 extension's gonna gone and ubo minus and adguard mv3 both doesn't have block webrtc mode

If you have any recommendations or anything in your mind for this topic please tell me

Krishna-art-dev commented 9 months ago

@ChowMein47 you are right in incognito mode it doesn't work great

ChowMein47 commented 9 months ago

@Krishna-art-dev Now kiwi's dev offline again. I think we must wait for several months for new update. Btw here is the also bug adguard extension on kiwi browser, the view is not suitable Screenshot_2023-09-19-18-10-35-12_4d38fce200f96aeac5e860e739312e76

Unfortunately, this bug has not been fixed yet and the Kiwi team does not care about it, and they have little activity and updates

koczek11 commented 7 months ago

I had nowhere to write This applies to Kiwi browser android I have the tunnelbear vpn add-on on this website webrtc leaks ip https://www.hidemyass.com/pl-pl/webrtc-leak-test on this non webrtc website the IP does not leak https://www.expressvpn.com/pl/webrtc-leak-test. Why is it like that

Krishna-art-dev commented 5 months ago

Idk why but other extensions browser like lemur browser it works all things works on that but the only thing bad about it is it's a Chinese browser so you know

koczek11 commented 3 months ago

lemur browser does not collect data, what do you think about it? It has Baidu Mobile Stat trackers https://i.imgur.com/5pVL34l.png https://www.reddit.com/r/androidapps/comments/121wgxg/lemur_browser_privacy/

It doesn't matter if you gonna use baidu or not lemur browser collect data a lot of data, check it's tracker from tracker control or any private dns I forgot what's it's tracker name but it track users

Btw you can able go around tracker and use lemur browser from what I know hagezi dns blocks a lot of lemur browser trackers so use dns at system level and use lemur browser it doesn't gonna able to send tracks and you gonna have full featured lemur browser

Enjoy

I will use my icons https://www.google.com/ or https://www.bing.com/ is this enough.

I will use my icons https://www.google.com/ or https://www.bing.com/ is this enough. I doesn't understand anything you are saying

koczek11 commented 3 months ago

Setting the bing.com home page I used to have a Peer block for torrents. A simple tracker blocking app you may know for Android. What type of data does this Baidu tracker collect? there is something to be afraid of.

Baidu collect URL, IP address, type of browser, language used, and the date and time of visit, etc. Having google.com as homepage doesn't changes much because it's a Chinese browser, browser itself aside from search engine collect a lot of data you can just check it's privacy policy of the app

koczek11 commented 3 months ago

The app's privacy policy may take a lot of getting used to. I once had a UC browser, and Wikipedia itself says it's bad, they send everything via an unencrypted channel, with Baidu it's a bit better. There are also mask browser, mises, flow browser, maybe I will try it. Regards, thank you.
