For some reason, the only ad on any website for me that seems to make it through your world class barrier is from Grammerly on YouTube. I don't know if that means there's something unique about them, or it's the YouTube code that needs to be reexamined. This is a big issue for your extension though because the most use I get out of it is in making YouTube Ad-less. If there's a breach in that protection, you should look into patching the extension with that breach solved.
