2 years ago Okay, so now that far more Discovery+ versions are using .com, I'm giving this issue report a thumbs up out of principle, since a fix for one version of their site would now be able to fix almost all (if not all) of them.

2 years ago We have a temporary filter solution that works if you using an app, but it will be handled via AdGuard Extra here https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardExtra/issues/297.

On the contrary, with similar settings, playing videos in discoveryplus.com with adguard for android enabled, everything works fine

Discovery plus's ads used to be skippable with adguard enabled, they would show up as regular video feed that one could scan past. Now the video player does not work with adguard enabled at all, and the ads are no longer skippable.

2 years ago So this is still a problem. Disabling that filter doesn't work. This is sad because discovery plus is 90 percent of the reason I use adguard lol I think it is adguard itself that is causing the issue, because even if I disable every filter with discovery in the name it still happens. Please let me know where to send the account login information if you really do need an account to fix this. Also you have to be in the US or use a US vpn to access it or it won't work.

2 years ago This issue is NOT solved. Adguard either breaks the discovery network sites or, at best, allows all ads to play when disabled or partially disabled. This may not be an easy issue for your to fix, but it's certainly an easy issue for you to diagnose and to admit. Please advise your customers of the status of your efforts (if any) to fix this significant issue.
