Adguard regularly fails on YouTube, but by turning Adguard off and on, sometimes it will work again. If not, I restart the computer and it usually works. Now nothing will stop the adds on YouTube.

I am on macOS Ventura beta. I disabled every single under General, Filters, Stealth Mode, Security, Assistant, and Extensions within AdGuard trying to isolate the issue and none of that fixed it. The ONLY thing that I disabled that would fix the problem is if I disabled "Automatically filter applications." And the problem with playing YouTube video is exclusive to the YOuTube website. Any video that is embedded on another site plays without a single problem.

I tried this in Safari, Chrome, and Brave Browser.

Not reproduced. Please try to reset AdGuard settings or remove custom rules.

Any video that is embedded on another site plays without a single problem.

I think this is caused by YouTube Auto Buffer & Auto HD. I have the same issue with some videos when I use a similar Chrome extension.

The YouTube videos don't start - the refresh keeps going forever (see screenshot 1). Even after reloading the page many times the problem doesn't resolve. Sometimes the timing/length of the video is the one from the video, other times is from the ad.

I have to use Clean My Mac and restart Safari in order to make it work.

After updating to Mac OS Monterey 12.5.1, AdGuard blew its installation and config away and I had to reinstall it and you gave me NO WAY to RESTORE ALL MY MANY PERSONAL PER-SITE SETTINGS that I've worked so hard on. AAAAND now I can't git rid of YouTube ads no matte what I try for some reason. So something in AdGuard for Mac isn't compatible with 12.5.1.
