Not reproduced on my end. Which certificate did the browser use? Try to update the filters, clear browser data, restart it, open the site.
@zloyden Hello. I have the AdGuard certificate added to my browser. I tried the above and after clearing the data and restarting the browser opening the site doesn't show it the first time and after refreshing the page a couple times it still shows the ads. I'm not sure if the ads on these sites are only displayed in China's network environment.
Please show a screenshot here after opening this link. Also write steps to reproduce in detail, send the saved page in zip archive. Don't see the ads on my end.
@AdguardTeam/filters-maintainers please also take a look at this.
@bu00 Please check certificate issuer in Firefox
And check the site in Edge/Chrome if you have.
ScreenRecorder_20240527_201714.zip @Alex-302 @zloyden I tried to reproduce the previous operation in Firefox, Edge using screen recording software. At the time of this screen recording, the network I was on was unable to open any websites when I opened AdGuard DNS, which seems to have been briefly blocked by the GFW. Ads are still displayed when opening web pages with AdGuard DNS turned off. Sorry, I can use Chrome in my country (China), but I can't open the Google App Store, so I can't test if it blocks ads.
@bu00 Google App Store is not required. Just open the filtering log, open msn.cn link in Chrome. If you see ads - please export the filtering log and attach here.
Or do you see ads not only on msn.cn, but on all sites?
@Alex-302
I used Chrome and tested a couple additional Chinese sites on the Chinese network: baidu.com qq.com iqiyi.com The ads on these sites are already blocked.
But on the MSN China site: www.msn.cn/zh-cn Whether it's the main site or clicking on the details page of an article, there are still ads, they are not blocked by AdGuard, which is the same with Firefox and Edge.
Reproduced and blocked only this
@AdamWr Do you see another banners? I see only when protection is turned off.
Even with VPN I'm redirected to msn.com
, so I cannot check it, but maybe the same rules as for msn.com
will work on msn.cn
.
Could you please add these rules:
msn.cn#%#//scriptlet('inject-css-in-shadow-dom', 'cs-native-ad-card-no-hover, display-ads, .display-ad-container, .display-ads-container, .views-right-rail-top-display, #entry-point-hp-wc-banner, .me-stripe-title-subtitle, #displayAdCard, a[href*=".booking.com/"], a[href^="https://amzn.to/"] { display: none !important; }')
msn.cn#%#//scriptlet('inject-css-in-shadow-dom', 'cs-native-ad-card { visibility: hidden !important; }')
msn.cn#%#//scriptlet('inject-css-in-shadow-dom', '#entry-point-hp-wc-header[style^="top:"] { top: 0 !important; }')
msn.cn#%#//scriptlet('inject-css-in-shadow-dom', '#entry-point-hp-wc-root-wrapper[style^="margin-top:"] { margin-top: 0 !important; }')
msn.cn#%#//scriptlet('json-prune', '*.*', 'adFeedbackData adType adServedUrls')
to user rules and then check if these ads are still displayed?
Cannot reproduce. I see banners only without AdGuard
