Blocking events.data.microsoft.com
may break something, so it shouldn't be blocked.
Related - https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/issues/165982#issuecomment-1806836201 and https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/issues/182197#issuecomment-2191161203
@AdamWr Got it. Then what about blocking only browser.events.data.microsoft.com
and watson.events.data.microsoft.com
? I see the these both often.
We had a rule to block browser.events.data.microsoft.com
, but it has been removed - https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/commit/bd26dfe55877d9b97afe3dccb20a70d9d9aec6d5, probably caused incorrect blocking.
I'm not sure if watson.events.data.microsoft.com
should be blocked.
I prefer to not block a request if there is no evidence that it's used only for ad/tracking purpose.
