Comment

The slide to select a Chromebook product line does not work properly when the AdGuard Cookie Notices filter is enabled. It will stop working after one scroll to either side. Adding a rule for when AdGuard is off to the user rules now makes the slide work correctly.

Comment

Prerequisites: clear browser cache if previously logged in to the site.

When Adguard is enabled, Find My Device does not work and fails to locate my device. When I log into the Edge console, I see multiple 400 errors. When I disable Adguard, Find My Device works perfectly.

I don't know if it's because of some kind of filtering that Adguard applies or because of the HTTPS certificates, but there's definitely a problem here.

Last week, Google’s AI Overview started appearing in my search results. It doesn’t appear on every search, but I find it highly annoying when it does. I’ve tried utilizing user rules to block it via cosmetic filtering (alongside other annoyances such as “People also ask”, People also search for”, and “Get the answer you’re looking for added to the web”), but I haven’t had any success with user rules on iOS. The element picker doesn’t seem to be able to pull the correct CSS elements and rules posted in forums such as r/uBlockOrigin have no effect. Username: @N/A

Cannot reproduce AI Overview with my account.

For other suggestions, please test

BlazDT commented 3 weeks ago

Please try this rule for AI text box: google.com###rcnt > .M8OgIe

@Alex-302 it showed with US VPN for me (the link and when typing simple questions into search).

Alex-302 commented 3 weeks ago

I tried with US IP. Could you please show the code and possible rules?

BlazDT commented 3 weeks ago

My posted rule hides it for me, here is code:

More code (below menu): https://pastebin.com/yQ7y1DP3

This query also shows AI (headline seems to be always AI Overview): https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+brew+beer+for+beginners&sca_upv=1&sxsrf=ADLYWIJKn-powrcA_JyjgTyCwFaKJyYWPg%3A1724239406206&uact=5

Better upload on Gist all РЕДЬ from DOM inspector.

This query also shows AI (headline seems to be always AI Overview):

Probably they don't show it to all users.

BlazDT commented 2 weeks ago

Your rule matched except attribute is different.

Alex-302 commented 1 week ago

You can make it working:) I can't reproduce.

BlazDT commented 1 week ago

I already posted a working rule before. Just if we should hide it in our filters or not.

Alex-302 commented 1 week ago

I am not sure. At least now.

Thanks for info. Added domain to unblock rule.

Great, but shouldn't that be $domain=google.* then?

It seems this rule breaks all google sites. Removed.
