seems to be ralated to issue "spiegel.de #189730"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.spiegel.android.app.spon
Since a couple of days, ads within the App "Spiegel Online" (German News App) are displayed. This was not the case in the months before. However, if HTTPS filtering for Spiegel Online App ist enabled, the App does not show any content at all (it starts, but the App windows stays black). Even without https filter enabled, there were not ads while ad guard was running.

Those rules are fixing it for me. Cannot add ATM due to Windows 24H2 update.
adnami.io, xplosion.de, outbrain.com, theadex.com are already blocked in our TPF and DNS filter. Please check your settings.
They are not blocked on latest Android for the app. Screenshot_20241002-103533
TPF is enabled and up2date.
Other ad requests also show up. Probably those are third-party rules and for apps they are considered as First-Party.
Is DNS protection enabled? Do you see the rules for that domains in optimized filters?
In any case - that banners loaded from the main domain and cannot be blocked.
And why do you unblock benelph.de? It seems tracking or ads.
DNS is not enabled as not required for apps on Android.
benelph.de is ad reinjection if blocked.
Checked Android TPF optimized:
adnami.io - not included
||xplosion.de^$third-party
outbrain - not included
||theadex.com^$third-party
Not required, DNS filter or filtering server contains also 3p sources, and contains more ad/tracking domains. And not affected to $third-party
modifier, when the rule may be not applied to apps.
Add to Mobile filter
||adnami.io^
To SpywareFilter\sections\mobile.txt
||xplosion.de^
||theadex.com^
If that server is blocked you will see the ads you wrote about unblockable above.
