Should be fixed after update in 3 hours (saw invisible link below button due to 1x1 banner picture).

ChimpuFernandez commented 5 years ago

The issue hasn't been fixed at all. Ad is still displayed. https://uploadrar.com/6grfyxphe35y Then why is this issue closed ?

This issue has been closed even though ad is still visible. I added the specific.txt host list to the custom filter and yet ad is visible https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/e8fb46eae34a6cf0c2d96517018001a5d1b37f2c/EnglishFilter/sections/specific.txt

Please try to disable third-party filters. Ads are blocked on my device.

ChimpuFernandez commented 5 years ago

All third party filters disabled except specific.txt by adguard in which this website is added. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/e8fb46eae34a6cf0c2d96517018001a5d1b37f2c/EnglishFilter/sections/specific.txt

AD IS STILL VISIBLE on OPERA VPN BROWSER ! Both vpn and adblocking feature of browser are disabled along with data saver.

I have even posted a fresh screenshot above.

Alex-302 commented 5 years ago

Please check in Chrome.

ChimpuFernandez commented 5 years ago

Since my default browser is Opera Vpn Browser, I kindly request you to check this issue in the Opera Vpn Browser. And fix this issue with respect to the Opera Vpn Browser.

ChimpuFernandez commented 5 years ago

Oh boy ! Ad is visible even on Opera Touch Browser.

You must strive to fix this issue on All Opera Browsers.

BlazDT commented 5 years ago

I do not see a way to install custom SSL certificate into Opera, Opera touch is not displaying the ad if you enable HTTPS filtering for it (but you get certificate warning on every SSL site then).

Alex-302 commented 5 years ago

No ads in Opera with VPN. Internal VPN and ad blocking is disabled.

ChimpuFernandez commented 5 years ago

Blazdt you are absolutely correct.

However could you add a feature in adguard wherein https filtering could be enabled for individual websites for browser only ? Just like in filtering log where you can block/unblock individual domain addresses.

Thank you for your solution.

ChimpuFernandez commented 5 years ago

Alex, I have already posted the screenshot twice to show the ads do get displayed.

If however you are enabling the https filtering for the browser kindly mention it like blazdt so even we can try it out, instead of just saying ads gets blocked.

Your answer doesn't explain how you arrived at it.

If you are using any other trick kindly mention the same, so we can achieve it too.

Thank you for your time.

BlazDT commented 5 years ago

Chrome trusts custom SSL certificates, Opera not.
